While it sounds easy, it takes quite a lot of skill, but it is a relatively easy way for novices to improve their horsemanship skills.
Lunging and reigning also require skill, but a lot of fun can be had, while learning to rope in a head of cattle from horseback! For those who are keen to learn some less horse-intensive skills, there are also other activities, such as pole bending and horseshoe tossing.
